Why Neurotropic®

Psychedelic Healing: An Introduction

The landscape of mental health care is finally witnessing an evolution, with emerging research uncovering the profound potential of psychedelic substances in facilitating healing and transformation. Our medical team understands the importance of evidence-based approaches, and the realm of psychedelic healing promises a renewed understanding of consciousness, the human psyche, and the intricate pathways to well-being.

Psychedelics, which have been utilized in indigenous and ancient traditions for millennia, are psychoactive compounds that can induce altered states of consciousness. These altered states can offer profound insights, catalyze therapeutic breakthroughs, and have been linked to lasting positive changes in mental health, behavior, and overall outlook on life.

The success behind psychedelic therapies is that the drug induces enhanced neuro-signaling and the receptive state that the drug provides allows one to view the past and future from a different perspective that can change one’s current and future thinking, especially when accompanied by positive coaching. This synergy between the medicine-induced plasticity and positive coaching can act as a direct catalyst to stop negative thought patterns and lead to new thought patterns that are more in line with one’s goals and aspirations.

OUR HISTORY

The Wellness Experience

“Life is a gift of nature, but beautiful living is the gift of wisdom.” — Aristotle

Humans have looked to expand their minds using psychedelic substances as medicine and for self-exploration for centuries. Despite how human history has demonstrated several different cultures that used organic, plant-based psychedelics for the altered states of consciousness, they can provide as part of spiritual and healing rituals, celebrations, and likely contribute to why these cultures were generally happy--less reported mental illness and no pharmaceuticals. Rather than seeing the medical potential, most industrialized countries consider these substances illegal, dangerous, and habit forming.

Western society has created distractions and disease, so we forget we are spiritual beings. Beyond healing, psychedelic medicine provides perspective and enlightenment that exploits these distractions, allowing us to focus on more important things, such as selfcare and personal relationships. Once you understand and respect the value of time…everything changes.

Who We Are

Life Changing Opportunity

The Medicines

Natural Light Portrait

I showed up to Neurotropic burned out, obese, depressed, with neuro-cognitive impairment, TBI, pre CTE, Pre-Parkinson’s, punch drunk syndrome, PTSD, Vasal vague syncope, severe sleep apnea, neuropathy, chronic neck/spine pain and severe asthma.  Ketamine and cannabis therapy have truly been a game changer and is improving my quality of life and overall mood with each treatment. For those who have experienced pain and trauma, the damage to muscle fibers can be felt being repaired with each treatment.  This treatment allows me to process, alleviate pains I have suppressed and past injuries. Coming to Neurotropic Wellness felt like my last resort and this decision has proven to serve as the best for my pain relief.
